Commissioning Services
CESPHN commissions services and programs to meet the local needs of our community as identified in our Needs Assessment. Our approach to commissioning health and wellbeing services involves strategic planning, co-design, procuring services, monitoring and evaluation and enables:
- A better understanding of the needs of our local communities
- A focus on health and wellbeing outcomes that matter to people
- Care to be person centred, with services organised around their needs
- Better relationships with and between our stakeholders, service providers and clients
CESPHN receives funding to commission mental health and suicide prevention, alcohol and other drugs, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, aged care and population health programs and services.
